This is someone Rylan has named "Gummy Bear", because that is what he thinks the pictures look like. This is to be the fourth and final installment in our family. He/she will join us in March, hopefully no sooner, been there, done that don't wanna go back. We are all very excited for this little one to join us.

I am excited for you.
Congratulations
Amy congrats on the new baby! how are you feeling? I hope things are going well for you. Sorry to hear about Rylan but hopefully he learned a lesson. i am sure he is doing better now but it looks like it was a pretty nasty fall. unfortunately it had to be on his face.
i think about you all the time and wonder how you are doing. I hope you are doing well. I have two new blogs. http://heatheryfamilyblog.blogspot.com
and http://myfamilyandbookmanuscript.blogspot.com
I have been doing well, not nearly as sick as last time, but I sure can feel the extra five years that have passed. Working nights does not make it any easier. It is soooo nice to have them all in school all day so I can rest when I need to.
Congratulations! Resting sounds nice, though working night shift does not. About feeling the "five years that have passed", if I am not mistaken, you are now the same age I was when I had my first (I was nearly 30).
Take care of yourself. Love you lots.
I will be 33 in Feb, so I am a little older, and feeling every day of it. I don't know how people have babies every year or two, I think I would die of exhaustion. It takes a strong and patient person to take on a bunch of little ones all at once. I am neither strong nor patient, thus the spacing between all my kids. I always figured I started young and had plenty of time to get them all here, now I am wishing I had been a little faster.
I guess 33 is "a bit older". :)
So now a question for you. Do you remember your 3rd pregnancy as being easier to deal with than this one?
(I ask because this is my 3rd, and there will only be a 3 1/2 year difference between all of them. That might contribute to the (slightly) more difficult pregnancy this time. All 3 of my kids have been born while I was in my 30's (almost -- I turned 30 about 6 months after Adara was born) and the first two didn't seem too bad. So I wonder if # of pregnancies is more of a deciding factor in how much you "feel" the discomfort of pregnancy than your age. (Unless, of course, you're in your 40s or your health is slightly less wonderful than that of a 20-something-year-old.))
All of my pregnancies and deliveries have been soooo different that it is almost impossible to compare. My second was deffinately the hardest and was my preemie. Third was tough to begin with but got better later on. This one has been better as far as nausea, but far worse as far as fatigue and joint pain, oh joy, I still have 5 months for it to get worse. I am just hoping for a delivery similar to number three, and nothing like number two. I always have to make plans for a section just in case, because number two was an emergency section which puts me at higher risk of needing one.
Prayers to you that this pregnancy won't be like #2. Who needs another scare like that one?
